When running rdesktop in full-screen mode, I will have occasional need to "flip" back to the "regular" RedHat Linux X11 desktop to see stuff, and then back to the remoted Windows display handled by rdesktop (that again takes over the screen.
I find no obvious way to "pause" or "iconize" rdesktop in order to do this. Is there such a mechanism available? I tried various variants of [Esc], [Alt]+various keys, etc.
(Note that the Xindows/XP version of the terminal services client has a top-center fly-out control bar that is used to do this; that's a nice idiom.)
