Sorry, my fault. It works fine. I didn't change the type from uint8 to
uint16 while applying the patch by hand.
Only that I am using a german layout and part of the keys (like äöü+´)
don't work and others (like #':;ß!"§$%&/) work as if on a US layout.
I'll work on it.
