rdesktop works flawlessly for me with 24-bit color, except for one
thing: the window does not refresh its contents after other things have
been on top of it, or when switching between viewports / desktops.
Actually, this refresh problem happens no matter what color depth I run
at. So if I switch viewports and then look at the rdesktop window, it is
just a big black rectangle. I have to find windows by trial and error
and minimize / maximize them to get back to work.
My coworker uses XFree86 3.something, and this doesn't heppen to him. Is
this a known problem? Is there anything I can do to help debug it? Does
it actually have nothing to do with XFree86?
Thanks,
Eric Newman
